BENEFITS SURVEY OF MANAGEMENT CONSULTING FIRMS |
|
Vencon Research International’s annual survey of non-cash benefits provides benchmark data on the type, value and range of optional and discretionary benefits offered by the major international and national management consulting firms across numerous markets throughout the World. |
The Benefits Survey includes detail of non-cash compensation for typically up to twelve firms in the relevant country. Whilst the comparator group can be further sub-divided into ‘Strategy’ and ‘Operations’ firms, this is less significant in the Benefits study, where firms may be more interested in the range, content and structure of the total package being offered across the whole consulting sector, rather than just by direct competitors. The Benefits Survey examines the non-cash compensation for all professional staff levels up to (but not including) the Partner/VP group, and details provision under nine categories, ranging from Insurance and Pension provision down to class of hotel used and ownership of flight miles. Each report comprises three primary elements:
- A succinct overview of the statutory benefits required by law within the country against each of the benefit categories under consideration, with cost parameters where appropriate.
- A cross-comparison of all the firms in the study, indicating both the range and cost of the various benefits, thereby facilitating a first level assessment of the comparative ranking of the participant firms, and of the relative importance of each benefit type in the country in question.
- A detailed description, per benefit category and sub-category, and per firm, of the level of benefit offered, the qualification for entitlement and the cost where applicable.
- By including original source data on a line-per-firm rather than aggregating to a normalised distribution curve Vencon Research reports enable clients to undertake their own analysis, perhaps focusing on specific elements of the overall package where they see themselves to be differentiated.
