Hilmar Albers

Hilmar is a native of Hamburg, where he studied Business Administration at the University of Hamburg.

Hilmar's professional career started in South Africa, where he was a Project Manager on several major assignments with Siemens.

On his return to Germany he became a Business Advisor to the Treuhandanstalt on the privatisation of former nationalised industries, and subsequently Head of Finance for a €1 Billion private equity company working extensively in Germany, the UK and Canada

Hilmar is a managing partner with Vencon Research International and manages the Berlin office.

 
Erwin-Christian Harbauer

Erwin was born in Austria and raised in Canada. He earned an honours degree in finance and statistics from the University of Western Ontario's Richard Ivy Business School. After reading French and German Literature at Albert Ludwigs Freiburg University he completed his MBA at INSEAD.

Professionally, he has worked extensively within Germany's privatisation agency (the Treuhandanstalt), helping to manage and coordinate the successful sale of numerous firms within the State-owned chemicals industry.

Erwin gained his consulting experience with The Boston Consulting Group, OC&C Strategy Consultants and Roland Berger Strategy Consultants, spending the better part of 10 years working internationally in Berlin, London, Munich, Toronto and Vienna, before settling in Switzerland.

Erwin is a co-founder and managing partner of Vencon Research International and manages the Swiss office.

 
 
David Warren

David is a co-founder of Vencon Research International, and as a regular guest lecturer on "Careers in Consulting" has presented to the MBA classes at Bocconi, ESADE, HEC, IESE, INSEAD, IMD, LBS and RSM.

A graduate in aerospace propulsion, David's early career included corporate responsibility for executive education and professional recruitment for firms such as Rolls-Royce and BAE Systems. He later led both the management development and international compensation and benefits functions for several major UK corporations, culminating in an HR Director role within the automotive industry before moving into consulting.

David is based in London, and has worked in France, Germany, Spain and throughout the Middle East.

David is a managing partner of Vencon Research International and manages the London office.
